In the same section, the Baraka Group adopted two new power projects in Chattogram. Baraka Group has established two large power generating companies at the Shikalbaha, Chattogram on the bank of the Karnaphuli River. One is Baraka Shikalbaha Power Limited (BSPL) and the other is Karnaphuli Power Limited (KPL). Shikalbaha Power Limited has a capacity of 105MW and Karnaphuli Power Limited has a capacity of 110MW.
