CODE OF ETHICS
In our business activities in Bangladesh and across the world we might encounter various ethical issues that need to be addressed. For this reason we have produced and updated BARAKA’s Code of Ethics. The Code collects proper behavioral norms intended for us, based on BARAKA’s core value. The Code applies to all BARAKA levels.
THE VALUES OF THE CODE, SPIRIT AND VISION
We will obey the rules and regulations concerning the management of BARAKA’s business across the world
We will be honest, fair and trustworthy in all BARAKA activities
We will refrain from conflicts of interest between our roles in BARAKA and our private lives
We will promote a safe and fair work environment
We will provide products and services according to the customer’s expectations
We will preserve and develop BARAKA’s assets.

BARAKA believes that being meticulous about high quality, while meeting the standards’ requirements along with those of the certifying authorities, is the secret to business success in a competitive modern world. BARAKA maintains an overall quality system in all of its units.
SUSTAINABILITY AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
BARAKA places great importance in the subject of environmental protection particularly, and to sustainability in general. The company’s units are committed to high standards in creating a safe, healthy and clean work environment for the employees and the community in which they operate. The quality control system is also intended to ensure meeting these standards. BARAKA is committed to actively improving the environmental operations and adopting methods that will allow Cost-vs-effectiveness issues a broader decision base, in order to take advantage of opportunities and Solutions that were previously identified.
BARAKA will act to provide its employees with a safe work environment, while reducing health and safety hazards

EMPLOYEES’ INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS
BARAKA will respect the individual rights of its employees.
BARAKA will adhere to all the laws and regulations regarding employees’ privacy
CONFLICT OF INTEREST
BARAKA employees will refrain from connections and other activities which could cause a conflict of interests between their jobs in BARAKA and their personal matters (their own and/or their relatives). BARAKA prohibits personal business activity with a competitive business entity, or with any client or supplier, if that activity could cause the employee a conflict of interests between his job and BARAKA
PERMITS AND LICENSES
BARAKA will be strict about receiving the necessary permits, licenses and approvals from governments Bangladeshis and foreign, for its business activities. BARAKA will operate according to Israel’s export policy and will respect both import and export statutes of the countries it operates in. BARAKA will strictly manage “end user” agreements whenever required to do so.
